Nazarbayev University has opened applications for its first-ever summer camp for high school students aged 14 to 18 from across Kazakhstan.
Designed in a pre-university format, the program aims to immerse participants in an academic environment and give them the opportunity to experience life as university students and researchers. During the intensive 11-day program, students will work in modern laboratories equipped with real research tools, develop their own portfolio projects, and build the skills needed for admission to NU and leading universities around the world.
The educational component of the camp includes five tracks:
- Cybermind — focused on robotics and artificial intelligence;
- Human Lab — covering medicine, biomechanics, and human body science;
- Inside Science — dedicated to scientific research;
- Success Track — aimed at university admissions preparation and portfolio development;
- Maker Lab — centered on engineering and innovation.
An important part of the program will be an off-campus trip to Burabay, where participants will have the opportunity not only to relax, but also to connect with peers from different regions of the country.
Students will stay in the university’s residence halls, allowing them to fully experience campus life. Four camp sessions are scheduled for summer 2026 and will run from June 3 to July 25.
