Nazarbayev University has joined the Digital Education Council (DEC), a global community of practice with a shared vision to drive sustainable innovation and AI adoption for higher education and workforce development.
Initiated by SuperCharger Ventures, the world’s largest EdTech accelerator, DEC brings together universities, colleges, business schools and vocational education providers from around the world to navigate the transformation of higher education and share approaches to emerging technologies.
Membership will give NU the unique resources and opportunities to collaborate with leading institutions and experts, exchange knowledge and practices, and contribute to international discussions on the future of education and technology.
On Dec. 7–8, NU will participate in the Digital Education Council Global Summit at IE University in Madrid. The summit will convene DEC member institutions from more than 42 countries, along with leaders from academia, international organizations and governments, to explore the role of technology in higher education and skills development, with a focus on institutional resilience, innovation, equity and the responsible use of technology.
