As is well known, several decades ago the UAE made a strategic decision to prioritize the development of education by actively attracting leading professors and talented international students. This approach enabled the country to substantially improve the quality of higher education and strengthen its position on the global academic stage. In the interview, Professor Waqar Ahmad — who previously served as President of Abu Dhabi University and made a significant contribution to improving its international rankings — spoke about the work he is currently carrying out in Kazakhstan and shared his vision for the future development of Nazarbayev University.
