CodiPlay, a graduate of the NURIS incubation and acceleration programs, focuses on gamified projects designed to teach children how to code. The startup has already achieved notable recognition, having secured pre-seed funding of 2,000,000 tenge from NURIS and an additional cash prize of 1,500,000 tenge from Shell, the sponsor of the incubation program, through the Shell Live Wire global entrepreneurship development initiative. Established by young Kazakh developers less than two years ago, CodiPlay has expanded beyond its mobile application to include CodiKit kits, which enable the creation of robotics-based IoT projects. Currently, the platform is utilized for programming education by schoolchildren in Kazakhstan and South Korea. The team has plans to introduce an integrated system in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Turkey, as reported by Kapital.kz.
