The projects of Technopark and NU Research and Innovation System were presented at the exhibition “ASTEX – Astana Smart Technologies Exhibition – 2014”. The event took place on May 19-20 in “KazMediaOrtalygy” tele-radio business-center.
The representatives of Computer Science Laboratory of NURIS and Robotics Laboratory of Technopark presented the following projects:
– Modern methods of data analysis and visualization;
– Using augmented reality technologies: the «AR Book» application;
– Methods of natural language processing;
– An open Kazakh language corpus;
– Intelligent-voice system with Kazakh speech recognition for information services;
– Inertial Motion Capture Based Mobile Manipulator Teleoperation.
An interactive game, developed by K. Aytpayev and Ch. Shakenov – “Ragdoll Run”, implemented on the basis of NURIS Technopark was presented during the exhibition ASTEX-2014. Prizes were raffled among the visitors on the basis of two days. Winners – Zhetybai Alibek and Yuri Nikitin, scored more points and won NU branded hoodies.
