All awardees and Vice-Dean Yelyzaveta Arkhangelsky, Departments Chairs of NU SEDS participated in the official ceremony on November 4, 2022.
The event started with a musical performance by the Engineering Student Orchestra in the ballroom. They performed well-known masterpieces of Kazakh national music. Singer Aruzhan Rysaeva, who is also a student of the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, joined in congratulating the students.
The ceremony continued with welcoming remarks from the Dean of the school. Professor Vassilios Tourassis congratulated the students on their achievements. After the welcoming speech, he presented Dean’s List certificates to the distinguished students.
There were 107 people on the Dean’s List for Spring 2022. This honour is bestowed on the highest achieving students who demonstrate dedication and commitment to their studies and score at least a 3.76 GPA in the semester.
Getting оn the Dеаn’s List is a tremendous personal асhievement and requires hard work and determination. We wish our students to find ongoing success as they work towards their academic and career goals and keep on striving for exceptional performance.
