This June, Forbes Kazakhstan released its «30 Under 30» ranking, showcasing young leaders from various fields. Among them are four graduates from NU.
Dauken Seitkali, co-founder of Arlan Biotech, focuses on developing products based on synthetic nanobodies for diagnosing human and animal diseases. His work also involves utilizing artificial intelligence to create nanobodies targeted against specific protein antigens, which could be applied in drug development, including against oncological diseases. In spring 2024, Arlan Biotech was accepted into the global accelerator StartX.
Rassul Bayramkulov is a researcher in computer engineering, specializing in integrated circuits. His recent research in superconductive electronics, aimed at making computers 10 times faster and 100 times more eco-friendly, was recognized at the VLSI-SoC 2023 international conference in Dubai.
Adiya Makhambetova works as a quant (finance specialist) at Fidelity Investments, one of the world’s largest investment companies. It’s important to note that being a quant is a niche specialty in the finance industry, requiring knowledge of mathematical sciences, programming, and finance. Moreover, Adiya manages FidFolio, a lineup of 13 thematic solo portfolios, providing ordinary investors with access to direct indexing.
Mira Maratkyzy is a co-founder of the Ordagen Kids nursery network. The Ordagen team has also developed an ERP platform to help preschool institutions plan and track business processes. The company operates in several countries and plans to expand into the markets of Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.
