The festival is open to students from all over the world; this year, they came from more than 50 countries. ISWiB was held under the motto “Nurture Our Future” and was dedicated to sustainable development.

Students participated in workshops on a wide variety of topics. They were enriched with new knowledge and ideas through close communication and collaboration, interactive lectures and open events, networking with professors and professionals from various fields, and developing and creating new projects.

According to NU SSH student Meruyert Bizhanova, ISWiB is a key communication platform for students on global environmental issues and sustainable development.

“It was a great pleasure to be engaged in the productive dialogue-oriented events within the festival and share experiences and good practices with people from different cultural backgrounds. Furthermore, we were amazed by the love and dedication the participants and organizers brought to the festival, and we all were able to witness a long journey within Europe’s culture, history, and values. But mainly, this festival inspired all of us to innovate, create and “nurture our future”!” said Meruyert.

NU students took part in the “Innovation and Development,” “Case Study,” “Urban Sustainability,” “Musical,” and “Wellness and Movement” workshops.
