The Norwegian Chamber of Commerce EAST CCI of Norway / Østhandelskammeret visited Nazarbayev University (NU) as part of their official trip to Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the visit was to explore strategic opportunities in Central Asia and strengthen partnerships with local organizations.
Nazarbayev University was highlighted as a key institution contributing to the development of human capital in the region. The delegation was welcomed by Kadisha Dairova, Vice President for Student Affairs and International Cooperation. During the meeting, discussions focused on potential collaboration in research and development, as well as joint efforts to engage and support emerging talent.
As part of their visit, the Norwegian delegation also held meetings with major entrepreneurial organizations in Kazakhstan. Key discussions centered around current economic trends and prospects for bilateral cooperation.

The program also enabled us to establish valuable connections across specific industries and broader sectors of the economy. Areas such as green technologies, aquaculture, logistics, scientific research, and construction show significant growth potential,” the delegates concluded.
