He lectured on the “Economic Development model of Morocco” students from different NU Schools.
Mohammed Rachid Maaninou received education in the following areas: tourism, management, and economics. He began his career in 1994 in the hotel business. He has held senior positions in the Moroccan National Tourist Office, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Morocco, the Division of Studies and Economic Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Prior to his appointment as Ambassador of Morocco to Nur-Sultan, he was Deputy Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean.
Mr. Maaninou began his presentation with an update on the current state of the Moroccan economy, followed by a presentation about “Masen”, the Moroccan agency for sustainable energy. During the lecture, an introductory video about Morocco was also shown. At the end of the lecture, a question and answer session was held, where participants could ask all their questions.
