NU delegation visited Atyrau as part of the university’s work to strengthen cooperation with universities across the regions. The visit focused on strategic partnerships in science and innovation, the adoption of advanced technologies in education and industry, and the development of joint research projects.
NU representatives visited Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University and Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, and also met with the management of Tengizchevroil (TCO).
At Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University, the delegation explored the university’s research and educational facilities. The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in green technologies, the agro-industrial sector, water resource management and the use of artificial intelligence.
One area of future cooperation will be adapting NU’s expertise and experience to the specialisations of regional universities and the needs of the region.
At Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, the sides discussed opportunities for joint research and innovation projects, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in the oil and gas industry. The visit also included a meeting with TCO management. Engagement with industry partners helps universities better understand the technological needs of businesses and identify areas where research and innovation can be applied in practice.
The visit to Atyrau is part of NU’s broader efforts to build partnerships with regional universities and industry. This approach brings together NU’s expertise, the research capacity of regional universities and industry needs, creating opportunities to introduce new technologies into industry and develop projects tailored to the needs of Kazakhstan’s regions.
