In one application users in real-time will be able to track the movement of public transport, departure and arrival status of international and domestic flights, as well as to get acquainted with the schedule of trains, electric trains and intercity buses. Application is convenient for metropolitan motorists students; the function to check fines traffic rules is available.

On May 24, Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, spoke with NU staff and students on the current and prospective global and regional environment, as well as the challenges and opportunities for Kazakhstan, the Caucasus, and the Central Asia region. Until February 7, 2016 in all the 17 cities of Kazakhstan passes the first stage of entrance examinations, APTIS test, which is conducted byNU partner, British Council. APTIS test consists of 75 test exercises with 3 modules – reading, grammar and vocabulary, multiple choice answers to each task.

On November 24 School of Humanities and Social Sciences held the Closing ceremony of the Second Student Research Conference, where students and faculty presented their recent research projects. The main aim of the conference was to promote research among the students and create a platform for the School students and faculty to discuss contemporary issues in humanities and social sciences.
