NU School of Medicine, established in 2014, in the dynamic capital of Astana, Kazakhstan, is seeking Instructors for the Department of Biomedical Sciences. Candidates working in any area of biomedical sciences, including microbiology, cell biology, pharmacology, biochemistry, immunology, pathology, genetics, anatomy and population medicine and public health, are encouraged to apply.

Students of NU met with colonel general Saken Zhasuzakov, the first Deputy of Minister of Defense, Head of Headquarters of Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. In a friendly environment the University guest talked with future defenders of Motherland about how Armed Forces of Kazakhstan will be developing further in a modern society and about perspectives of military training.

On 10-15 March, 2014 NU participated in the Annual Conference of the Comparative and International Education Society(CIES 2014). This year’s Conference theme was”Revisioning Education for All”, which highlighted cutting edge research on issues of equity and the right to education at all levels of learning.

The NUGSB MBA program, in strategic collaboration with Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, is due to begin on September 1, 2014. Online registration is already underway.

Registration for NUGSE intensive Pre-Master’s programme has begun from 13 January 2014. The registration is open till 14 February 2014.

NU participated in the competition of four teams, and the team consisting of Nurlan Kanapin, Adilet Zhaksybai, Anouar Dihanov became the best. The students of NU confronted the teams from Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Georgia.

December 11, 2013 the Graduate School of Education NU hosted a ceremony of awarding certificates to teachers of Kazakh schools, graduates of training programs. During the six-month training programs 75 teachers from different regions of the country have been trained in effective methods of teaching and in new educational technologies.

Today NU conducted Open House Day in Shymkent. All visitors had a unique opportunity to obtain information on admission procedures, training and professions, careers for future graduates and campus life, as well as get acquainted with the peculiarities of the students’ scientific research and organization student’s leisure at university.

Today in Almaty at the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the Leader of the Nation “NU” held an open house day.
