On July 8-11, NU in cooperation with Fudan University held 11th Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance (YICGG-2017) with a topic “Future Energy and Sustainable Infrastructure” that gathered 66 students from 32 countries of the world. Corresponding to Kazakhstan government’s chairing the Shanghai Cooperation Summit, echoing with the theme “Future Energy” of International EXPO-2017, the “One Belt One Road” initiative, and Kazakhstan’s state infrastructural development program “Nurly Zhol”, YICGG picked its topic.

NU held the Youth Innovation Competition on Global Governance 2017 (YICGG 2017) in cooperation with Fudan University, China on July 8-11.

Students of NU at short-term military trainings

Annual recruitment of students of NU for short-term military training under the Military Technical School of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of military-patriotic education was held. This year, 69 senior students of NU who received this privilege with a high level of academic achievement, diligent behavior and active participation in student life received a unique opportunity to get a free course of a young soldier.
