How was YRA created?Young Researchers Alliance (YRA) was created on April 18th in 2018, by enthusiastic early career researchers working and studying at NU. A common goal that united young professionals from completely different fields was to create an effective platform for interaction between young researchers in Kazakhstan and abroad.

This November, a research team from the Laboratory of Bioengineering and Regenerative Medicine, National Laboratory Astana (NLA), NU will present their project - a wound healing hydrogel for patients with skin burns and injuries - in a highly competitive USA International Business Incubation Program. During a competitive selection process sponsored by Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) Initiative, the research team won full sponsorship to attend the Business Incubation Program, which supports innovators in international science and technology looking to expand their startups into the US market.

On September 11-13, 2019, the MSU Faculty of Law was visited by Roza Zhenysovna Nurgozhayeva, a visiting professor of law at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and vice-president of NU (Kazakhstan). According to the QS World University Ranking of law schools, NUS Law Faculty is ranked 15th overall, and recognized as the best in Asia.

Soon! Kazakhstan fastest telescope launch

In June this year, NU hosted the Second International Conference “Exploring the Energetic Universe 2019”, where the launch of a new high-speed telescope in Kazakhstan was announced. We are pleased to inform the public that the scientists have completed the telescope’s assembly and have conducted preliminary tests of the new device, which is called NUTTellA-TAO (NU Transient Telescope at Assy-Turgen Observatory).
