On October 26, 2022, NU hosted a round table “The role of corporate interaction of libraries in the digitalization of higher education in Central Asia. ”Event organizers: The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, International Center for Innovation in Higher Education with the support of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), The Association of Libraries of Higher Educational Institutions of Kazakhstan, and NU.
The 11th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference will be held in Astana at NU on 27-28 October 2022. The conference organizers are The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, The Association of University Libraries of Kazakhstan and NU Library.

On October 24, 2022, NU launched the International Youth Forum of the Asian Universities Alliance on the theme: “Building a Meta Silk Road: Integration of Asian Cultures in the Real and Virtual Universe”. NU hosted a second expert discussion of the “Jana Qazaqstan” intellectual space. In June 2022, Maulen Ashimbayev, the speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, stressed the importance of the platform for joint discussion of the agenda of the New Kazakhstan and initiatives on strategic directions of development of the republic, at the space opening and its first discussion.

On October 7, professors and students of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, led by Chair Essam Shehab, participated in the “World Space Week: Space Technology and Patents” meeting. The National Institute of Intellectual Property (QazPatent) organized the event as part of World Space Week.
In celebration of the UN International Day of Peace every 21st of September, the NU Library in partnership with NU SG-Ministry of Education and the Office of the International Students and Scholars Services held an event entitled What Does Peace Look Like?: A Conversation on Peace and Racism last 21 September 2022 at the Active Learning Room, NU Library on strengthening the ideals of peace in the NU community. In line with this year’s theme, End Racism.
On October 12, 2022, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Mochamad Fadjroel Rachman, visited NU with a guest lecture on the topic: “Indonesian Diplomacy.
