NU, together with the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies and in association with the Harriman Institute (Columbia University) and the University of Bremen, conducted the 1st Conference “New Advances in the Political Economy of Development in Eurasia” as well as NU-EACES workshop as a part of it on June 1-3, 2023. It was a three-day conference with 9-panel sessions and 35 conference speakers.

The opening ceremony marked the establishment of a representative office aimed at expanding the academic opportunities offered by the university. One of the key objectives of this expansion is to introduce new training programs tailored for executives, effective managers, and businessmen.

EN: The 1st SDSN Kazakhstan Conference on Sustainable Development Goals in Central Asia has been held at NU Graduate School of Public Policy on May 30, 2023. It was a one-day conference comprising 6 Panel Sessions including 19 conference speakers.

After almost 13 years of dedicated service, President Katsu has taken the initiative to step down from his position. On May 29, 2023, NU, the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the Auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), and the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) signed a memorandum of understanding. The UNESCO-ICHEI delegation arrived for the first time on a visit to Central Asia.
