On June 10, 2023, NU (NU) hosted its highly anticipated 9th Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its graduates. The grand event took place at the university's Main Hall, attracting over 2,000 attendees, including the graduating students themselves, proud family members, esteemed faculty, representatives from government agencies, and business leaders.

“You will make it out there”: NU Class of 2023 Celebrates Graduation

On June 10, 2023, NU (NU) hosted its highly anticipated 9th Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its graduates. The grand event took place at the university’s Main Hall, attracting over 2,000 attendees, including the graduating students themselves, proud family members, esteemed faculty, representatives from government agencies, and business leaders.

The first Kazakh-French "Decarbonization Day" took place at NU, organized by the France-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce (CCIFK) in collaboration with JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST". During the "Decarbonization Day," a significant milestone was achieved with the launch of the Kazakh Green Hydrogen Alliance.

The first Kazakh-French “Decarbonization Day” took place at NU, organized by the France-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce (CCIFK) in collaboration with JSC “NC “KAZAKH INVEST”. During the “Decarbonization Day,” a significant milestone was achieved with the launch of the Kazakh Green Hydrogen Alliance.

NU, together with the European Association for Comparative Economic Studies and in association with the Harriman Institute (Columbia University) and the University of Bremen, conducted the 1st Conference "New Advances in the Political Economy of Development in Eurasia" as well as NU-EACES workshop as a part of it on June 1-3, 2023. It was a three-day conference with 9-panel sessions and 35 conference speakers.
