The Board of Trustees of NU, headed by Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov, considered the results of the University's activities for the past year and plans for the coming period on March 4, 2023. The National Bank Chairman Galymzhan Pirmatov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance Yerulan Zhamaubayev, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Timur Suleimenov, heads of several other government agencies, NU President Shigeo Katsu and other members of the Board of Trustees participated in the meeting.

About 70 employees representing the middle management of Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University, including department directors, deans, and department chairs, will be trained for two months on the topics: Team and human resource management, Funding and management of research projects and fundraising, Regulation of academic processes, Ensuring and improving the quality of teaching and learning, Writing a research plan/application for grant funding, The architecture of educational programs and others. Building team members' knowledge and skills in these areas will be a big step toward achieving academic excellence at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
