Nazarbayev University will host the AIST-2026 Conference on Analysis of Images, Social Networks, and Texts on October 16-18, 2026, in Astana, Kazakhstan.

AIST is an international scientific conference bringing together researchers, academics, and industry practitioners working in data science, machine learning, and data analysis. The conference provides a platform for presenting research, exchanging knowledge, discussing emerging technologies, and fostering collaboration across academic disciplines and industry.

The programme will cover a broad range of topics, including image and video analysis, natural language processing, computational linguistics, social network analysis, geoinformation systems, deep learning, educational data mining, recommender systems, and applications of machine learning in economics and social sciences.

The conference will bring together members of the international and Kazakhstan data science communities and provide an opportunity to explore both theoretical and practical aspects of data analysis and machine learning.

The main volume of the conference proceedings is planned for publication in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
