On August 22 and 29, Nazarbayev University will host Founders Weekend 2026 – a two-day SITF program focused on the commercialization of scientific developments.
- Day 1 (August 22) – Business Intensive: Business Model Canvas, pitching and funding
workshops, and one-on-one consultations with experts. - Day 2 (August 29) – Project pitching before a jury.
The winning team will travel to TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 in San Francisco, with all travel expenses covered by the organizers.
Who can participate: students, master’s students, PhD students, and young researchers (18+).
No registered company or prior business experience is required – you can participate individually or as a team. Participation is free and subject to selection.
