Nazarbayev University will host the 5th International Symposium on Emerging Materials and Devices on 17-19 June 2026. Organized by the Renewable Energy Lab at National Laboratory Astana, the symposium will bring together leading researchers, industry experts, and innovators from around the world to explore the latest advances in emerging materials and device technologies.
The symposium will serve as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, highlighting innovative materials and technologies with the potential to address global challenges and improve quality of life across energy, environmental sustainability, medicine, advanced manufacturing, and related sectors. The program will feature discussions on energy conversion and sustainability, optoelectronics and photonics, green chemistry and biomedicine, multifunctional materials, computational science and artificial intelligence for materials and processes, as well as innovation and commercialization pathways from laboratory research to market applications.
