A meeting was held at Nazarbayev University with Anna Artemyeva, Regional Head of Google for Education in EMEA and APAC. During the visit, the parties discussed the digital transformation of higher education, as well as opportunities to equip students, faculty, and researchers with advanced artificial intelligence tools developed by Google.
A key focus of the meeting was the integration of modern AI solutions into the educational process. Anna Artemyeva presented the latest Google for Education tools aimed at scaling research activities, enhancing faculty productivity, and expanding students’ access to world-class technologies. Particular attention was given to the integration of AI into the academic environment and ensuring data security.

Representatives of the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) at NU showcased their own developments, including the Mangisoz, Oylan, TilSync, and Beynele projects, all tailored to address regional needs.
Following the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strategic partnership. In particular, they explored opportunities to launch joint educational programs focused on mastering modern AI tools, as well as to implement collaborative research projects based at ISSAI.
