The 11th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference opens at NU.

The 11th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference will be held in Astana at NU on 27-28 October 2022. The conference organizers are The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, The Association of University Libraries of Kazakhstan and NU Library.

The 11th Eurasian Academic Libraries Conference will be held in Astana at NU on 27-28 October 2022.

The conference organizers are The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, The Association of University Libraries of Kazakhstan and NU Library.

Conference participants are managers and leading specialists of national and university libraries from 12 countries of the world: Belarus, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, USA, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Czech Republic.

As open science becomes the main trend (new normal) of the modern scientific world, university libraries need to study the current state of open access to knowledge and discuss the prospects and forms of library activity in this field. The conference is attended by outstanding researchers and interesting speakers.

Conference participants will be able to learn the best practices in the field of:

• open data;

• open educational resources;

• open access technologies.
