The most promising startups received pre-financing from NURIS, with amounts of up to two million tenge.

President Katsu has answered a number of questions regarding the development of contemporary science, the research opportunities available through NU, and shared his opinion on what qualities can make future Kazakh leaders more competitive. “We have created a so-called post-doctoral scholars program where we try to attract back talented Kazakhstani graduates with doctoral degrees, and PhDs from Europe, US, and other countries and offer good laboratory conditions and research opportunities” - noted President Katsu.
