Scientists from the Center for Life Sciences, National Laboratory Astana (NLA), NU have developed a new dietary supplement made from dried mare’s milk (saumal), vegetable and metabiotic ingredients. The new product received the working title “Saumet”.

Orientation towards meta competences, teachers’ professional development, transition from “education for all” to “quality education for everyone” as well as development of school management and ICT are all actual trends in modern secondary education. On December 10, 2018, for the first time ever a solemn award ceremony “Elorda zhuldyzy” was held in the concert hall “Astana”. NU was the recipient of an honorary award.

NU School of Humanities and Social Sciences is pleased to announce the launch of the new PhD program in Eurasian Studies. The online registration will start on December 10th, 2018.

This laptop is called “GRAM”, because it weighs less than a kilogram, and this is one of the lightest laptops in the world. The Korea Foundation has generously donated 20 LG GRAM notebooks for NU Library’s Korean Corner.

Today, on the day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the new C4 NU research complex, as well as an exhibition of the university’s research projects. President Nursultan Nazarbayev is the First Chair of the Supreme Board of Trustees of NU, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools and the Nazarbayev Fund.
