For the first time in the history of Kazakhstan, Alisher Juzgenbayev and Mukhtar Tashkenbayev, members of the team ‘NU A’ qualified in the the EUDC’s semi-finals in the 'Open' category and quarter-finals in the ‘English as a second language' categoryDue to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament, which was supposed to be held in the city of Nur-Sultan, was held online.

The article stated that both Kazakhstan and UNESCO have made plans to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Kazakh poet, writer, and philosopher Abai.
