On June 10, 2022, NU hosted the VIII graduation ceremony. This is the first ceremony to honor alumni on the University campus after two years of restrictions because of Covid-2019.

The event gathered students, researchers, and faculty members in biomedicine, engineering, and biology fields. The book provides a comprehensive overview of the field of fiber optic sensors using an interdisciplinary approach that covers the fabrication of sensing devices and optical hardware, the functionalization to perform selective biorecognition, and the main applications of biosensors, with a present and a future outlook.

NU hosted a Policy Challenge 2022 contest among students and graduates of the NU Graduate School of Public Policy (NU GSPP), the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KAZGUU and the Bolashak Association. During the Policy Challenge, the teams studied the document on the Concept for the Development of Public Administration until 2030 and the Action Plan for its implementation.

During the visit, a master plan of the university, research centers, and laboratories were presented to him. The President also learned about the university projects and programs in science, healthcare, digitalization, agriculture, ecology and sports areas, through which NU contributes to the implementation of the President’s initiatives.

Nur-Sultan hosted the IT contest “BILIM Hackathon-2022” among college and university students, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science. On March 27, the awards ceremony for the winners of BILIM Hackathon – 2022 took place.
