The annual event took place in Marrakesh, Morocco this year, in collaboration with the Policy Center for the New South. The event coincided with the annual meetings of the World Bank and the IMF and centers around the theme "Improving Governance to Address Climate Change, Inequality, and Global Fragmentation.

The annual event took place in Marrakesh, Morocco this year, in collaboration with the Policy Center for the New South. As part of the MoU, the parties agreed on joint research collaborations, student mobility programs, faculty exchange, and participation in lectures, conferences and other academic events. As part of the Student Mobility Agreement, four undergraduate and graduate students from each university will have the opportunity to take part in the student exchange program at the hosting institution.

A total of 32 teams representing 28 of Kazakhstan's leading higher education institutions, with over 200 students hailing from 16 cities across the country, gathered to showcase their intellectual prowess.

A total of 32 teams representing 28 of Kazakhstan’s leading higher education institutions, with over 200 students hailing from 16 cities across the country, gathered to showcase their intellectual prowess.

As a follow-up to signing the Memorandum of Understanding in March 2023, NU and ADA University (Baku, Azerbaijan) signed an Agreement for Student Exchange in September 2023. The partnership marks a significant milestone in the global education landscape, further enhancing the ties between these two prestigious institutions from brotherly nations.

Over the course of three days, participants delved into topics such as research policy formulation, strategic alignment, ethical considerations, compliance, international collaboration, postgraduate and doctoral research support, intellectual property commercialization, and even the initiation of startups.
