The Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education (GSE) invites educators, researchers, academic leaders, and higher education professionals to participate in NU Teaching Conference 2026, which will take place on October 27–28, 2026, in Astana, Kazakhstan. Held as part of Nazarbayev University’s 15th anniversary celebrations, the conference will serve as an international platform for discussing innovative approaches to teaching and learning, academic leadership, and quality enhancement in higher education.
Under the theme “The Teaching–Faculty Nexus for Excellence: Partnerships to Enhance Quality in Higher Education,”the conference will bring together scholars, policymakers, quality assurance experts, doctoral researchers, and industry partners to explore emerging trends and challenges shaping the future of higher education. Key topics will include artificial intelligence in education, innovative pedagogical practices, digital transformation, inclusive teaching and learning, academic leadership, and faculty professional development.
The conference is organized by the Graduate School of Education at Nazarbayev University in collaboration with Advance HE, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), and several schools of Nazarbayev University. The program will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, parallel sessions, and research presentations led by internationally recognized experts and practitioners.
