Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy (NU GSPP) will host a workshop on “Blue-Green Water Infrastructure for Climate-Resilient Water Management” on August 31–September 1.
The workshop will bring together German expertise in blue-green infrastructure (BGI) planning, implementation, monitoring, and management, while also exploring Central Asian and Kazakhstan-specific cases in climate adaptation, water management, and urban development.
The programme will consist of two parts:
- Part I: Lessons Learned from German and International BGI Experience
- Part II: Astana Context and Co-Development of a Research Agenda
The workshop will feature panels on German experience with BGI, discussions on BGI in Central Asia, the Astana context, and the co-development of a joint research agenda.
