AUA Presidents Forum 2023: “Shaping Higher Education in an Evolving Asia: Creation, Integration, and Innovation”
Under the theme of “Shaping Higher Education in an Evolving Asia: Creation, Integration, and Innovation”, the AUA Presidents Forum 2023 will draw upon the AUA experiences since 2017 to strengthen joint endeavours in developing Asian higher education.
The Forum will consist of three sessions:
(1) Reflecting upon the missions of higher education against the backdrop of emerging global challenges, such as deepened inequalities, climate change, and also the promises and perils of rapid advancement in AI technology,
(2) Promoting the mobility of students and scholars within Asia and attracting world talents to Asia, and
(3) Developing sustainable universities and the students’ sustainability competence as an AUA commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
