The fifth NU Hackathon was held in Astana

Eighty teams prepared solutions for 36 hours for two cases: from Google and Beeline Kazakhstan. According to the event’s main organizer, Amina Allen, this hackathon is aimed more at supporting girls in the IT community. The team of three must have a girl, the organizers decided. The hackathon generates interest: while in 2017, there were 200 applications, this year, there are about 700. Read more in the Weproject article.
