The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) creates the academic ranking of world universities, which is one of the most significant rankings of higher education institutions.
Unlike other rankings, the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) does not rely on surveys and data provided by universities themselves.
The rating is based on an objective analysis in four key areas:
• the level of education that takes into account the academic success of graduates;
• employment potential, taking into account graduates holding senior positions in large companies;
• the quality of the teaching staff, taking into account teachers who have received prestigious academic awards;
• research potential, taking into account research papers, publications in leading journals, the impact on the academic environment, and the citation of scientific papers.
In 2022, almost 20 thousand universities across the earth received an assessment. As a result, a list of 2 thousand best educational institutions was compiled — GLOBAL 2000.
Among all universities in Kazakhstan, only NU was included the prestigious CWUR rating (1765th place in the TOP 2000 among 19.8 thousand universities in the world). Read more on Finprom.kz article.
