President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with winners and prizewinners of international Olympiads.
The event brought together 24 laureates: four gold, eleven silver, and nine bronze medalists in the fields of chemistry, mathematics, physics, geography, informatics, and biology. Among them were four students of Nazarbayev University.
Specifically, Bekasyl Yelubay and Talgat Baibussinov will begin their studies at the School of Sciences and Humanities; Alikhan Kalmaganbetov has been admitted to the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences; and Yerkanat Kenshilik has joined the Foundation Year Program.
Congratulating the young talents, the Head of State commended their outstanding achievements and expressed sincere gratitude. According to him, winning prestigious international intellectual competitions and bringing honor to Kazakhstan on the global stage is a significant accomplishment and an inspiring example for others.
