NU Researchers Take Part in the First Congress of Young Scientists of Kazakhstan

Dedicated to the 125th birth anniversary of renowned Kazakh scientist and academician Kanysh Satpayev, the event gathered over 1,000 young researchers from Kazakhstan, including those excelling in international scientific circles. Attendees presented innovative research and engaged in discussions on the country’s current state of scientific development.

The consortium, led by the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) and the Institute of International Education (IIE), brings together seven universities to investigate how AI can be integrated into education systems to better prepare students for the demands of an AI-driven global economy. “As part of this initiative, NU will conduct a multi-case study focusing on Learning and Teaching Practices across different academic levels, from foundation to undergraduate and graduate programs.

NU Joins Global Research Consortium to Explore AI Impact on Higher Education

Zhazira Agabekova, Assistant Professor of NU School of Sciences and Humanities, and Yelizaveta Kamilova, NU Teaching and Learning Librarian, presented the Catalogue of Gender Education Resources and the Kazakh-English Explanatory Dictionary of Gender Terms. These works were published under a three-year project titled "Scientific concept of gender education in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan: theoretical and methodological foundations" - a joint project of NU, KazZhenPU and ENU, funded by Kazakh's Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
