The science field is actively developing in Kazakhstan, and the Young Research Alliance (YRA), which contains more than 340 enthusiastic researchers from different cities and countries plays a key role in that. One of the YRA founders, Beibit Abdikenov, shared that it is a voluntary, self-governing, non-profit public union, designed to develop proposals for government agencies on science development through scientific approaches.

German historian Robert Kindler published the book titled “Stalin’s Nomads. ” This scientific monograph is based on real historical data about the causes and consequences of the famine in the Kazakh steppe in the 1920-30s.

Against the backdrop of the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, Chaia emphasizes the importance of climate-resilient governance strategies, grounded in threshold, coping, recovery, adaptive, and transformative capacities.
