NU is pleased to announce that NU won the right to host “The Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations 2019 Asia Conference” (HPAIR 2019 Asia Conference). NU won the very competitive international bidding process, surpassing other high-quality submissions from universities in Singapore, Japan, China, Taiwan and India.

On February 1, 2019, the National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice of the RK and NU signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The parties intend to cooperate in developing an innovation economy, human capital and high-tech knowledge in Kazakhstan.

NU and the Sovereign Wealth Fund “Samruk-Kazyna” signed a new memorandum of cooperation. The University intends to strengthen the current partnership with the State Holding Company, and further develop cooperation in the fields of digital technology, human capital development, and innovation.

On December 10, 2018, for the first time ever a solemn award ceremony “Elorda zhuldyzy” was held in the concert hall “Astana”. NU was the recipient of an honorary award.
