In this seminar experts were MIT teachers and representatives of American energy companies. On the first day of the seminar, participants discussed key aspects of Kazakhstan’s energy strategy: developing effective policies for modernizing heat and power infrastructure with a focus on the most advanced financing strategies, as well as the transition to cleaner energy sources and digitalization of power grids.

The training was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the World Health Organization Country Office. The event brought together leaders of regional departments of sanitary and epidemiological surveillance for immunization, clinical specialists, and school medicine service workers.

Dr. Kapucu, an international expert on public policy and crisis management, conducted training on “Managing Emergencies and Crises for Public Sector” on March 12-13 at NU, where he spoke about challenges government managers face in emergency situations.

NU Graduate School of Education, in partnership with universities HAMK and JAMK, has launched the third professional development program, “Leadership in Education. ” This initiative is part of a broader project aimed at implementing and enhancing an improved model of teacher education.

As part of the memorandum, the parties will organize professional development and advanced training programs, conferences, round tables, and symposiums, where representatives of NU and AIFC will share professional expertise and act as trainers. The parties will also be able to participate as experts in each other’s projects or create joint working groups to implement common projects.

NU and the Kazakh Ministry of Energy agreed to intensify cooperation aimed at advancing technological solutions in the country’s thermal energy sector. This partnership was forged during a productive meeting between NU’s leadership, professors, and a delegation from the Ministry of Energy led by Vice-Minister Bakytzhan Ilyas.

NU (NU) held a seminar training on “Abay’s teachings: “Tolyk Adam” and Justice”. The speaker – Professor, and Director of the NU Cultural Center, Gultas Kurmanbay, revealed the concept of “Tolyk Adam” (Perfect Man) and the deep roots of Abay’s philosophy, the principles of which are relevant to modern Kazakhstan.

The organizers were the NU Social Development Fund (SDFNU) and the NU Research Center for Entrepreneurship (NURCE). The conference served as a platform for discussing successful social entrepreneurial projects in Central Asia, innovative approaches to addressing social issues, and the role of the state and research centers in supporting social entrepreneurs.

NU (NU) and National Center for Public Healthcare of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NCPH of MH RK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration in medical education and science. The document was signed by Manar Smagul, Chairman of the Board of NCPH of MH RK and Prof.

NU’s (NU) Board of Trustees held a meeting on Feb. 16, which was attended by Chairman of the Board, Assistant to the Kazakh President for Economic Affairs Asset Irgaliyev, as well as Members of the Board, including Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms Zhandos Shaimardanov, Kazakh Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek and Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Mussin.
