Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbaev took part in the international conference “The Impact of COVID on Higher Education – “New Framework – New Balance?”, organized by the British Association of Teachers of English for Academic Purposes BALEAP, reports the Press Service of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The International Conference on Academic English, as Maulen Ashimbaev emphasized, serves as an important platform for discussing current issues and developing practical recommendations in the field of science and education.
During his working visit to Almaty, President Tokayev inspected the renovated National Academy of Sciences “Gylym Ordasy” building and held a large meeting with the scientific community. He emphasized the importance of science and education for the nation’s prosperity and acknowledged the increasing investment and growth in these sectors.

In the swimming, athletes competed in individual and team events, separated into men’s and women’s categories. A total of 61 students from 14 universities showcased their talents in freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke, and backstroke, across distances of 50 and 100 meters, as well as in team relays.
The project is a collaboration with Roche Diagnostics, a global leader in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, and a key partner in the development of Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical industry and healthcare system, supported by the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan and “SK-Pharmacy” LLP. The primary goal of the training center is to enhance the skills of local specialists.
The Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA) is a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and has been recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education. The five-year accreditation confirmed that the Doctor of Medicine program of the NU School of Medicine meets rigorous standards of quality and excellence in medical education.
