NU Unveils Plaque to Mark Xi Jinping’s Historic Speech

On September 7, 2013, President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping visited NU to deliver a special lecture to students. During this lecture, he announced the launch of the now-strategic Belt and Road Initiative, which today unites more than 150 countries and 30 international organizations.

The new faculty members represent 16 countries, including the US, China, Egypt, Turkey, Belgium, Portugal, the UK, and Kazakhstan. They will contribute to teaching and research across a broad range of disciplines, such as computer science, chemistry, economics, geology, history, anthropology, languages and literature, academic writing, and leadership.

The new faculty members represent 16 countries, including the US, China, Egypt, Turkey, Belgium, Portugal, the UK, and Kazakhstan. They will contribute to teaching and research across a broad range of disciplines, such as computer science, chemistry, economics, geology, history, anthropology, languages and literature, academic writing, and leadership.

They have installed special campus waste bins to dispose of unusable smartphones, chargers, tablets, accessories, and other small-sized equipment, regardless of brand.

The South Korean corporation and Kazakhstan’s leading university signed a memorandum of cooperation, agreeing to collaborate on the Eco-Box project to enhance environmental awareness among youth. The camp was organized by Professors Ellina Moon and Lisa Lim, along with students Ainur Aimurziyeva, Aizhan Tolebay, and Altyn Zhuraliyeva. Ainur Aimurziyeva, a fourth-year biology student, won the «Social Impact 2023» competition last year, which allowed her to implement this project with a grant from the NU Social Development Fund.
