Dear NU Community,
The Health and Well-being Department is pleased to invite NU employees to an online lecture on how workplace stress and prolonged sedentary work can affect metabolic health.
Modern working routines often involve long periods of sitting, high mental workload, and limited opportunities for movement. Over time, these factors may affect energy levels, body weight, glucose metabolism, and overall well-being. The lecture will provide an evidence-based explanation of these connections and highlight the importance of paying timely attention to changes in health.
The lecture will be delivered by Zauzat Madiyarkyzy Muratbekova, a practising endocrinologist who works with both adults and children. Her clinical practice covers thyroid disorders, diabetes, insulin resistance, excess weight, nutrient deficiencies, and paediatric endocrinology.

We invite you to attend the lecture and gain a better understanding of how everyday working habits may affect your health.
