featuring Professor Emeritus Aviel Verbruggen from the University of Antwerp.
Professor Verbruggen brings over 40 years of experience in the interdisciplinary fields of engineering, economics, management, and political economy. His esteemed career includes roles such as Chair of the Study Centre for Economic and Social Research and the Study Centre for Technology, Energy, and Environment. He has served as the Principal Advisor to the Flemish Minister of the Environment (1999-2001), contributed significantly to the IPCC Working Group 3 mainly on the Special Report on Renewable Energy, and was a member of panels for the EBRD and European Commission.
