Students Represent University at Education Fair in Turkey

NU students, Adil Ismagambetov and Akerke Berkutova, currently studying in Turkey as part of an academic exchange program, represented their alma mater at an international education fair hosted by Sabancı University in Istanbul.

At the event, they introduced NU to a broad international audience, highlighting its academic programs, vibrant student life, and state-of-the-art infrastructure that fosters an innovative and student-centered learning environment. Their participation exemplifies the spirit of global engagement and the important role NU students play in advancing the university’s international presence. Such initiatives significantly contribute to the comprehensive internationalization of NU and enhance campus-wide diversity, create new opportunities for students to study abroad, and help in welcoming international students to our community.

This spring semester of 2025, 37 NU students are studying abroad in eight countries through academic mobility and Erasmus+ programs, all of which allow for the transfer of academic credits. At the same time, 11 international students are attending NU under similar exchange agreements.

NU offers semester-long study abroad opportunities at more than 40 partner universities across 19 countries. The Office of Internationalization continues to expand this network, aiming to provide students with even more global opportunities and to reinforce the university’s strong commitment to academic internationalization.
