During the event, participants worked on case studies presented by major companies such as Airbus Helicopter Kazakhstan Engineering, Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering, Wabtec Corporation, and Alstom. A total of 132 students had a unique opportunity to showcase their skills by solving technical problems designed to address the current needs of the industry.

The forum focused on “A Fresh Outlook on Drug Discovery and Personalized Medicine,” offering a hands-on workshop and brainstorming sessions designed to explore cutting-edge advancements in healthcare. The forum brought together around 30 students from AUA member universities, including South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, and others.

Held every four years, PRiME is the largest event in the world of electrochemistry and related sciences, where leading scientists and researchers from around the globe exchange cutting-edge ideas and discuss the latest developments. Notably, Thomas A.

A team of NU students won the iGEM international competition in Paris as the “Best Project in Oncology”, beating biologists from the world’s top universities. iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) is an international competition in synthetic biology in which students from all over the world develop and implement innovative projects.

For the first time, the Student Sports League is organized as a single tournament for all universities, with NU being the host. In a landmark event for Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Nazarbayev University (NU) held the prestigious NU Regional Bloomberg Trading Challenge, marking the first time the competition has been hosted in the region. Initiated by NU’s Library, the large-scale project fostered collaboration between the university’s academic schools, student clubs, and Bloomberg.

The series is designed to promote intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and a strong sense of community by spotlighting a different culture each month. In the inaugural event, students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate the vibrant culture and rich heritage of Pakistan.
