The consequences of climate change were discussed at the “Climate Talks” conference organized by NU Green Campus, UNDP, and corporate foundation “National Conservation Initiative”. More than 100 people from various countries participated in the conference, with ecologists, representatives of state bodies and NGOs, NU students and professors among them.

NU and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kazakhstan held their first joint meeting on gender equality and harassment. During the online roundtable, the parties discussed an action plan for creation of equal opportunities and safe work, learning and social space.

Our guest today is Sofiya Imanbayeva, Vice President of the Children’s Development Foundation, a 4th-year student majoring in “Mathematics” at the NU School of Sciences and Humanities. Sofiya told us about the projects that are being implemented by the Children’s Development Foundation and about caring people who support social initiatives and students' undertakings.

More than 1,500 Kazakhstani school and kindergarten teachers received free training in inclusive teaching. The three-week course was developed by an international team of expert professors from the NU Graduate School of Education and was implemented with the support of the Dara Foundation and Chevron.
