The Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society of Oxford University Press has published an article written by researchers from the Department of Physics at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The publication - “Impact of rotation on the evolution of convective vortices in collapsing stars” was written by NU Associate Professor Yernazar Abdikamarov, French astrophysicist, Professor Thierry Foglizzo and Olzhas Mukazhanov, 4th year NU physics student.

NU Career and Advising Center (NU CAC) has participated in a study on “International Trends and Innovation in Career Guidance” in the context of rapid changing labor markets and the future of work conducted by European Training Foundation (ETF). The ETF study highlighted the key role and ever-increasing importance of career guidance and how it responded to new challenges with innovative approaches in the EU, partner countries and internationally.

The new model developed by the ISSAI scientists can determine the location of miners underground based on Wi-Fi signals. Researchers from the Institute of Smart Technologies and Artificial Intelligence believe that their new development will help miners feel safer underground.
