At Nazarbayev University, there are more than 120 active student clubs, with over 2,500 students proactively engaged in club activities.

There is a club for every interest, from academic societies to cultural, recreational, and service organizations.

Students are encouraged to join existing clubs or start new ones with the support of the Department of Student Services.

Clubs at NU are categorized into four key areas:

Academic and Professional

Offers opportunities to deepen knowledge in specific fields through workshops, seminars, and networking events while providing mentorship and career resources to help students prepare for future academic or professional paths.

Art, Entertainment, and Culture

Provides platforms for students to express creativity through visual arts, theater, music, and literature, organizing exhibitions, performances, and workshops that promote cultural appreciation and enrich campus life.

Sport and Dance

Offers students the chance to participate in a variety of sports (basketball, football, volleyball) and dance styles (Kazakh, hip-hop, contemporary, k-pop), with access to specialized facilities, coaching, and regular practice, fostering skill development and teamwork.

Social (including Student Government)
