The Association of MBAs (AMBA) and Business Graduates Association (BGA) accreditation team visited NU Graduate School of Business (NUGSB) on Sept. 15.

This visit is a pivotal step in GSB's pursuit of prestigious dual accreditation and reaffirms its commitment to delivering world-class business education.

The GSB's journey towards AMBA&BGA accreditation began with the formal submission of a letter of interest to AMBA on February 3, 2023. On June 8, 2023, the International Accreditation Advisory Board of AMBA & BGA confirmed the successful completion of Stage 2 in this process. This milestone affirms that the Graduate School of Business meets the eligibility requirements for AMBA accreditation, setting the stage for the next critical phase: the panel visit for Stage 3.

The AMBA and BGA accreditation process is a rigorous assessment that aims to ensure business schools meet international quality standards. The visit of the AMBA and BGA accreditation teams to NU is an important step on the path to accreditation. According to Dr. Jennifer Lewis, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Accreditation, “AMBA accreditation will place GSB in the top 2% of business schools worldwide. In addition, dual AMBA and BGA accreditation will demonstrate our commitment to responsible management and excellence in business school education across all of our master's programs: Executive MBA, Full-time MBA and MSc Finance.”

During their visit, the accreditation panel, which consisted of reviewers from business school deans and directors, had the opportunity to explore the school, and the city, and interact with university leaders, respected faculty, dedicated administrative staff, and distinguished students and alumni.

“We look forward to continuing to showcase the outstanding work of the NU Graduate School of Business and demonstrate our commitment to upholding the highest international standards of business education,” the school representatives said.
