AI, the cloud, and smartphones have ushered new innovations and apps that will help us deal with the current pandemic. One such app that uses AI and smartphones is being developed by NU. The app analyses the sound of cough using AI with the aim to help doctors make diagnoses in the future. Irish Tech News talks to lead researcher Alessandra Clementi, Assistant Professor from the NU School of Medicine about this and more.
