Three NU Alumni Startups Showcase at Bett UK 2026

Nazarbayev University is participating in Bett UK 2026, the international education technology exhibition that opened January 21 in the United Kingdom. Together with other Kazakhstani higher and postgraduate education institutions, the university is presenting its academic programs and education technology solutions.

On the opening day, during the flagship Leading EdTech event, also attended by Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, Nazarbayev University introduced three EdTech startups founded by NU alumni. Three ventures emerged from the university’s business incubation programs and are residents of the university’s Technopark.

Alpha Education is an IT education ecosystem focused on training in-demand specialists and building digital competencies. The platform integrates a proprietary learning management system, university-level academic programs and AI infrastructure, offering practice-oriented education and scalable tools for launching and growing educational products.

Artisan Education is a personalized STEAM platform designed to develop engineering thinking. The solution is currently used in 68 schools across Kazakhstan and combines adaptive software with modular hardware kits that enable students to work on real-world engineering projects. The startup is actively expanding into international markets.

WEGLOBAL.AI is an artificial intelligence-based platform that identifies at-risk students and supports student well-being. By analyzing data from thousands of learners, the system generates targeted recommendations for educators and specialists. The platform is currently deployed in more than 1,000 schools across Central Asia.

Held annually, Bett UK brings together government officials, educators, technology companies and education experts from dozens of countries. The exhibition serves as a global forum for discussions on the future of education, digital transformation, artificial intelligence in learning, and the development of innovative education solutions.
